This Privacy Policy explains how QuoFret ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website and software ("the Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, company, email, password (stored hashed).
- Business data: the customers, carriers, quotations and cost records you create inside the Service.
- Usage data: IP address, browser, pages visited, timestamps — used for security and audit logging.
2. How we use information
- To provide and operate the Service.
- To authenticate users and enforce permissions.
- To improve product reliability and performance.
- To respond to support requests.
3. Data ownership
You own your business data. We do not sell, rent or share it with third parties for marketing. We act as a processor on your behalf.
4. Data retention & backups
Production data is backed up automatically. Our internal engineering rule is strict: production data is never destructively deleted — only additive schema migrations are allowed. If you cancel your subscription, you may export your data; we retain it for a grace period before scheduled removal.
5. Security
Passwords are hashed. Access is HTTPS-only. Sensitive actions are recorded in an immutable audit log. Role-based permissions support IP-, day- and hour-level restrictions.
6. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@quofret.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email and posted on this page with an updated date.
Terms of Service (summary)
Use of QuoFret is governed by the subscription agreement signed at sign-up. In short: use the Service lawfully, do not attempt to compromise it, pay your subscription, and we will keep the Service available and your data safe. Full terms are provided at registration.
