QuoFret is a web-based ERP for ocean freight forwarders. It handles carrier rates, customers, quotations (with branded PDF output), per-container cost tracking and reporting — all in one place.
Do I need to install anything?
No. QuoFret runs in the cloud. Any modern browser works — Chrome is recommended for the best PDF rendering.
How does the quote wizard work?
Three steps: pick the customer and contact, pick origin/destination/container, then assemble freight + surcharges + margin. The cheapest carrier surfaces at the top. A branded PDF is one click away.
What costing methods are supported?
FIFO, LIFO and LILO per container. LILO appears automatically when DTHC is involved. Self-check flags inconsistencies between line items and totals.
Can I control who sees what?
Yes. Users have read / write / delete permissions plus optional restrictions by IP address, day of week and hour of day. Every action is recorded in the audit log.
Is my data backed up?
Yes — automatic daily backups, plus a one-click manual backup. Our internal rule is strict: production data is never deleted, only additive migrations.
Can I export data?
Reports and tables export to CSV. Quotations export to professionally formatted PDF.
Do you support multiple contacts per customer?
Yes. Store every contact per client; choose the right person on each quote. The selected contact's name, email and phone are snapshotted on the quote.
